Location. Surrounded by the green expanses of Palm Meadows Golf Course and meandering lakes, Radisson Resort Gold Coast is one kilometer from downtown Carrara and five kilometers from Pacific Fair Shopping Centre.
Hotel Features. While the Gold Coast has sometimes been called the "Golf Coast" because of the concentration of courses in the area, there is more than golf at the Radisson Resort Gold Coast. In addition to 18 holes of championship golf and a driving range, the resort offers two outdoor pools, four floodlit tennis courts, the Get Smart Health Club, saunas and spa tubs. Future Therapy Massage and Day Spa provides beauty services, scrubs, wraps and massage treatments ranging from Swedish to shiatsu. Several more golf courses are within a few kilometers of the resort. Chelos Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining and a nightly international seafood buffet. The resort also provides two lounges: Chelos Bar and the Rex Lounge. Nine conference and function rooms and five outdoor facilities provide space for meetings, weddings or other occasions. Daily shuttle service is provided to local shopping areas such as Pacific Fair and Surfers Paradise.

Guestrooms. The resort includes 308 guestrooms on three floors. Rooms include bright contemporary décor and balconies or patios with golf course or garden views. Amenities include wireless and TV based Internet access, direct dial phones, cable TV and movies. Additional amenities include coffee makers, minibars and refrigerators. Microwaves are available by request. The property, including guestrooms, is nonsmoking.

Expert Tip. The resort is located in the sub tropics which means humid summers and mild winters. Travelers should plan for mild weather, but may want to bring a few heavy items, just in case. Possibly more important, travelers planning days of golf or other outdoor activities should bring hats and plenty of sunscreen.
