Hotel Astoria

Set in the hillside in the centre of Kuhtai, Austria's highest winter resort, Hotel Astoria is chalet style property, just 100 metres from the ski lifts and slopes. The 35 guestrooms all feature light, Alpine décor and include balconies, cable television, radios, telephones and safes. Full board accommodation is offered, with a breakfast and brunch buffet, and full evening meal.
The hotel's restaurant offers a selection of local and international dishes with an emphasis on organic food and vegetarian cooking, all served in relaxed, wood panelled surroundings. Having made the most of the excellent skiing and snowboarding on the hotel's doorstep, guests can revitalize themselves in the sauna, go for a dip in the indoor swimming pool or use the table tennis and table football facilities. In the evening, guests can enjoy an après ski drink on the terrace or sample a specialty cocktail in the hotel bar. The hotel hires ski equipment, has free parking and offers a babysitting service. The Olympic skiing village of Axams is 25 kilometres away offering a host of winter sports facilities including tobogganing and cross country skiing. Innsbruck Airport is 25 kilometres away with an approximate driving time to the resort of half an hour.
