Driving instructions from airport salzburg wolfgang amadeus mozart distance 7 km time 15 minutes drive into the innsbrucker bundesstrasse direction city centre. At the end turn left into the from motorway a1 distance 7 km time 15 minutes take exit salzburg mitte, turn left in the direction of the city center into ignaz harrer strasse, continue on this road and turn right before crossing lehner brucke /bridge/ into gaswerkgasse. You will have to pass a small tunnel, after the tunnel turn left into mullner hauptstasse and then right into augustinergasse. Carry on going up the hill and this small road will bring you directly to the royal castle moenchstein. From city center old part of the town distance 1 km time 10 minutes go along the rudolfskai /beside the river salzach/carry on straight into mullner haupstrasse, turn left into augustinergasse and carry on going up the hill and this small road will bring you directly to the royal castle moenchstein.
