Location. La Grande Résidence at The Sutton Place Hotel is located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Robson Street, the city's epicenter for shopping and dining, is one block away. The Vancouver Art Gallery is three blocks from this property, while Stanley Park is less than two kilometers.
Features. La Grande Résidence is an extended stay hotel connected to The Sutton Place Hotel, named on the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List in 2005, 2006 and 2007. The lobby welcomes guests with inlaid marble floors, traditional brass chandeliers and immense floral arrangements atop marble topped tables. Guests have full access to the amenities next door. This includes the Gerard Lounge, a wood paneled watering hole favored by visiting Hollywood celebrities. Fleuri Restaurant showcases French techniques. Its all you can eat chocolate buffet is popular with visitors and locals alike. Each weekend, diners feast on assorted chocolate confections, cakes, ice creams, pies and sorbets. The mezzanine level's health and fitness center is complete with an indoor pool, spa tub and steam room. The Vida Wellness Spa specializes in Ayurvedic treatments, a series of ancient practices that focus on holistic health.

Guestrooms. The European influenced decor extends from the lobby to the guestrooms. Contemporary furniture exhibit clean, masculine lines, but are softened with silk and crushed velvet. Tailored for long stays, La Grande Résidence guestrooms feature fully equipped kitchens that feature dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators and stoves. Cookware, dishes and utensils are included. Separate bedrooms and sitting rooms both offer flat screen LCD televisions. Entertainment options include premium cable channels, DVD/VCR players, pay movies and video games. Bathrooms feature televisions and telephones.
