Getting there. The hotel can provide airport transfers for a surcharge. For public transportation, take bus number 100 to Zlicin station/metro B, then the metro to Karlovo Namesti Station, which is 100 metres from the hotel. Alternatively, registered taxis wait outside the Arrivals hall and cost about 25 EUR to the Botel Matylda. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Prague's historic centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, as many roads are pedestrianised. There is an efficient and inexpensive public transport system, including trams, buses, metro, and a funicular railway. Tickets are available from tobacconists, stations, and many hotel reception desks, and can be used on all modes of transport. Five of the major metro stations have information offices, with schedules, maps, and directions.

Drive through the Strahovsky tunnel.
At the Moevenpick hotel, turn into Pizenska.
Turn right to Radlicka and left to Ostrovskeho, Vitavska.
By the river, turn left onto the Jiraskuv Bridge.
Turn left at the lights.
Before Manes Exhibition House, turn left towards the river.
