expert tip. colline du chateau (castle hill), is not a chateau at all, but the site of an ancient fortress. Less than two kilometers from the Hotel, a tiny lapidary museum on the grounds features roman and medieval remains found on the site. Admission is free. The Hotel's restuarant, the chantecler, is closed during january each year.
