Formally a railroad station, the neoclassical Gare d'Orsay is a world class art museum boasting over 80 galleries.
It is located across from the Louvre. It's collection is focused on the years 1848 to 1914, offering art from the pointillists, nabis, realists, romantics and symbolists. The art collection includes architecture, art objects, furniture, paintings, pastels, photography and sculpture.
