Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Denfert Rochereau, St Michel, Chatelet les Halles, and Gare du Nord. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. The hotel is one block from Place Monge Metro station. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The hotel is located on Rue Mouffetard. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. The hotel is one block from Place Monge Metro station. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
Driving directions. From Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport:
Take the A3 motorway towards Paris Centre/Est, following signs for Porte de Bagnolet.
Join the ringroad (Boulevard Peripherique) at Porte de Bagnolet.
At the sign PARIS CENTRE/PTE DE BERCY, follow the Porte de Bercy ramp (direction Gare de Lyon/Quai de Bercy).
Head into Paris along the Quai de Bercy (direction Gare de Lyon).
At the end of Quai de Bercy (which runs alongside the Seine), join the one way system and turn left onto the Pont d'Austerlitz Bridge.
Cross the bridge into Place Valhubert and Boulevard de l'Hopital.
Immediately after entering the boulevard, turn right into Rue Buffon, then right again into Rue Geoffroy.
