Getting there. From the airport, RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Alight at Chatelet Les Halles and change to Metro line 1 to Franklin D Roosevelt station, the nearest metro station to the hotel. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes approximately one hour.
Getting around. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
