Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Denfert Rochereau, St Michel, Chatelet les Halles, and Gare du Nord. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is approximately 25 minutes. From Chatelet les Halles take Metro Line 1 in the direction of La Defense and alight at Concorde, 50 metres from the hotel. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. From here take Metro Line 1 in the direction of Chateau de Vincennes and alight at Concorde for the hotel. A taxi direct from the airport to the hotel typically costs approximately 45 EUR. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap Metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
