Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal 2 and runs to Gare du Nord (1.5 kilometres from the hotel). From Gare du Nord it is three Metro stops to Pigalle, 100 metres from the hotel. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera, one kilometre from the hotel. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. From Paris Orly Airport (ORY):

Getting there. The Orlyval shuttle runs between both terminals and the train station at Anthony on RER line B. The train stops at Gare du Nord (1.5 kilometres from the hotel). From Gare du Nord it is three Metro stops to Pigalle, 100 metres from the hotel. The Air France shuttle travels to Gare de Montparnasse. The Orlybus shuttle goes to Denfert Rochereau Metro stop. Taxis to the city centre cost about 40 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap Metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended.
