Clarionb>Location.The Clarion Collection Parkhotel Krone is situated in the centre of Bensheim Auerbach on the Hessisch Bergstrasse mountain route. Frankfurt International Airport is 50 kilometres away, and takes around 30 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. The Parkhotel Krone has two lounges and a hotel bar which is open until late. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can advise on excursions around the local area. The hotel offers a solarium, gym, sauna and steam bath free of charge, and there is complimentary parking available for guests arriving by car.

Parkhotel Krone offers a choice of dining options, the elegant Kronprinz restaurant, serving lunch and dinner, and the casual Brasserie Prince, open for lunch and dinner.

Guestrooms.The 68 guestrooms are located on three floors and are furnished in an art deco style. All include cable television with sports and movie channels, direct dial phones, complimentary wireless Internet access, minibars, and hair dryers. Smoking rooms are available on request.

Expert Tip. Heppenheim is a small town on the Hessische Bergstrasse, an ancient road winding around the foot of the Odenwald Mountains. Visitors can wander around the Marktplatz, which is dominated by a huge neo Gothic church known as Bergstrasse Cathedral.

Directions

Getting there.Frankfurt airport has two passenger railway facilities: The Regional Train Station and the Fernbahnof long distance train station. Trains run direct from the regional station to Bernsheim Auerbach, and the hotel offers a pick up service for the remaining 1.5 kilometres of the journey. Taxis are readily available outside both terminals and fares to the hotel cost around 50 EUR. Bernsheim Auerbach can be explored on foot; a hire car is recommended for travelling further afield.
