The Maritim pro arte Hotel is a large modern building with a glass façade and situated in the centre of berlin, 100 metres from freidrichstrasse station. This 11-floor Hotel features 403 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in modern style with neutral colours, contemporary artwork and light wood furnishings. All rooms have satellite television with pay movies, voicemail and desks with wireless internet access. The carrera marble-and-black-amethyst granite bathrooms feature shower/tub combinations.
The Hotel's atelier restaurant offers regional and international dishes, with a selection of wines, in a bright setting with dark wood furnishings and white tablecloths, and the media bistro and checkpoint bar offer snacks and refreshments in a laid-back ambience. Berlin-tegel airport is 30 minutes by car, 10 kilometres (six miles) from the Hotel.
