Built in 2002, the Novotel Berlin-mitte is a seven-storey hotel with a modern facade, located in the Mitte district in central Berlin, one kilometre from friedrichstraße and three kilometres from the brandenburg gate. The hotel's 238 modern guestrooms feature simple cream decor with blue bed fabrics and matching curtains, and wood furnishings including coffee tables, writing desks and chairs. All include satellite television, wireless and high-speed internet connections, minibars, coffee/tea making facilities and complimentary newspapers. Bathrooms come equipped with shower/tub combinations, robes, and complimentary toiletries.
After a day's sightseeing, guests can enjoy some relaxation time in the sauna. Mediterranean dishes, accompanied by an extensive wine list, are offered at the contemporary le jardin restaurant, which opens onto a terrace area during fine weather. The wave café serves lighter meals and drinks until late, and hosts regular live music. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, and guests can stay connected via wireless internet access. Conferences and seminars of up to 350 people can be accommodated in the hotel's 11 meeting rooms. Audio-visual facilities are available upon request. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide around-the-clock room service, assist with transport bookings, offer tourist advice and store valuables in the safe-deposit box. Motorists will find parking facilities available for a surcharge. The hotel is within one kilometre of many of Berlin's primary attractions, including museum island, alexanderplatz and the shops of friedrichstraße. The famous reichstag building is three kilometres from the hotel, as is the brandenburg gate. Berlin tegel airport is eight kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 25 minutes.

One Ticket Allows Travel On All Trains, Trams, Buses And Ferries.
