The Lindner Congress Hotel is a modern 14-floor building with an imposing mirrored façade and is located in Cottbus, adjacent to the river spree and 100 kilometres from berlin. The Hotel's 189 guestrooms have panoramic views of the city and have modern décor with warm-coloured bedspreads and curtains. All rooms include air-conditioning, satellite televisions, minibars and dial-up internet connections. Wireless internet is available in business and first class rooms.
The lynaris restaurant has views of the town and offers regional and international dishes and an extensive list of wines and beers. Guests can also dine on a rustic-style terrace in the summer months, with views of the rowing boats on the river spree. Gustav's bar serves regional draught beer and light meals, and is decorated with wall prints by its namesake, the painter gustav klimt. The Hotel has a conference centre which caters for up to 270 delegates, with a range of seating arrangements available; audiovisual equipment is also provided for presentations. A gym is available for use at no extra cost and is located on the top floor of the Hotel. Cottbus has many attractions for the visitor including a number of churches, museums, galleries and a zoo, all within four kilometres of the Hotel. The spreewald, (10 kilometres from Hotel), is a protected nature reserve dominated by the tributaries of the river spree. Berlin schönefeld airport is 100 kilometres from the Hotel.
