The Marriott Hamburg, located in the center of germany's second-largest city, provides modern and convenient accommodations on the gaensemarkt. Hamburg is home to a magnificent harbor and boasts canals and bridges similar to venice. The city center, which is a half-moon area that arches north of the elbe river, is bordered by a curve of roads that mark the limits of the old city. Cutting through the middle is the alsterfleet, a canal that separates the altstadt (old city) from the neustadt (new city). Hamburg's most prominent landmark is the bronze, helmet-shaped michaeliskirche, northern germany's largest baroque church, better known as 'michel' to the locals. The Marriott Hamburg is adjacent to business and shopping districts, and is two blocks from alster lake. The congress center is one half-mile west from the hotel.

The six-story Marriott Hamburg provides 268 guestrooms and nine suites. All accommodations include luxurious bedding with down comforters, custom duvets and cotton-rich linens, minibar, cd player, separate spa tub and shower, electric adapters, bathrobe, speakerphone with voicemail, high-speed internet access and in-room safe. Small pets are allowed.
