Location. The historic Hotel Fuerstenhof is located in the centre of Leipzig, Germany. The Old Town Hall and zoo are 500 metres away. St Thomas Church and the Madlerpassage shopping arcade are within 800 metres. The opera house and concert hall are a kilometre from the hotel, and Leipzig's main railway station is nearby.
Hotel Features. The Hotel Fuerstenhof occupies a palatial building dating back to 1770.

In the conservatory, with its graceful pillars and circular glass ceiling, the Wintergarten Piano Bar serves light bistro fare, cocktails and quality cigars. Specialities of the region complement the international menu in the Hotel Fuestenhof's elegant Villers restaurant. Vinoteque 1770 has 150 wines and a terrace with city views. Guests can try the wines with cheese, antipasto or bistro food.

The hotel has wireless Internet access in public areas (surcharge), and three meeting rooms for up to 300 people. Business services are available.

From Leipzig Airport (LEJ):
Distance to Hotel Fuerstenhof is 17 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Every 30 minutes, the Airport Express train runs to Leipzig main station, stopping at the site for the Leipzig trade fair. Leipzig's main station is close to the hotel. The journey takes about 15 minutes, and the fare is 3.40 EUR for a single ticket. Intercity trains run hourly towards Hannover and Dresden. A bus service runs 24 hours a day to Leipzig's main station, costing 4.60 EUR for a single ticket. Taxis cost around 30 EUR from Terminal B to Leipzig city centre and 40 EUR to Halle. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Hotel Fuerstenhof is on Troendlinring. Leipzig has an extensive public transportation system (LVB), including buses, light rail trains and trams. Tickets should be purchased prior to boarding and validated once on board. There is onsite parking at the Hotel Fuerstenhof (surcharge).

Driving directions. From Leipzig Airport:
Take A14 toward Dresden.
Take Leipzig Mitte/Messe Exit.
Follow B2 to town centre.
Turn right at Troendlinring.
The Hotel Fuerstenhof is 300 metres on the right.
