RamadaThe Ramada Leipzig is a modern, three-storey Hotel on the outskirts of Leipzig, 200 metres from the paunsdorf shopping centre. Decorated in deep reds and blues, the 291 rooms all include cable television with pay movies, desks with dial-up internet connections, clock radios, minibars and bathrooms with hair dryers.
The Hotel restaurant houses a winter garden and serves american buffet breakfasts and a selection of regional and international dishes. Guests can unwind in the steam room, sauna or jetted tub, or enjoy cocktails in the treff bar. The Hotel houses 16 meeting rooms, the largest of which is able to accommodate up to 850 people, and offers a range of office-support and secretarial services. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can arrange dry-cleaning services, assist with currency exchange and provide room service (limited hours). Free parking is available for guests arriving by car. Guests visiting on business will find the headquarters of porsche, bmw and siemens within 13 kilometres of the Hotel. Music-lovers may like to visit st thomas's church, six kilometres away, wagner was baptised here, mozart once improvised on the church organ and bach was the choirmaster for more than 25 years. Although originally built in the early 13th century, the church still functions as both a place of worship and a venue for classical music.
