The Renaissance Leipzig Hotel is a seven storey building with a traditional and well lit facade, located in a quiet area of Leipzig's city centre, 300 metres from the main opera house. The hotel's 356 guestrooms have deep pile carpets, patterned bed fabrics and matching curtains, cherry tree furniture including writing desks and coffee tables, and marble bathrooms. Suites include additional sitting areas with sofas and also offer complimentary bathrobes and slippers. All rooms include air conditioning, satellite television, wireless Internet access and minibars.
The hotel's restaurants vary in formality from à la carte menus in the main restaurant to snacks and sandwiches at the Da Vinci bar. Both regional specialities and international cuisine are available. The bar also offers a variety of cocktails prepared on request.
