Taxis are readily available at the airport arrival terminal and cost approximately EUR 20. Alteratively, take the S Bahn 8 to Station Ostbahnhof and then the U Bahn 5 to Neuperlach Sud; exit at the Schindlerplatz and walk straight for 200 metres, turn left and into the Therese Giehse Allee. Munich's extensive U Bahn underground system is the most efficient way to get around the city. You can also use the same tickets on the S Bahn commuter trains, buses and streetcars.
