Set on the beach in a peaceful suburb 19 kilometres from the centre of Athens, the modern Amarilia Hotel is one kilometre from the Lake Vouliagmeni mineral spa. The 90 sunny guestrooms with cream decor open onto furnished balconies with sea or pool views. Rooms are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones, minibars, radios, safes and hair dryers. Guests can go online throught the complimentary wireless Internet service.
The sun terrace surrounds the pool and is furnished with sunbeds and parasols, where guests order snacks and refreshments from the bar. Back inside the hotel, guests can use the PC in the Internet corner (complimentary) or relax in the TV lounge. Business travellers will find conference halls which seat up to 400 people. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk are on hand to provide sightseeing assistance. Guests can go for drinks in the Artemis cafe bar which features live piano music, before dining in the marble floored Artemis restaurant which serves Mediterranean food and Greek specialities. Directions

A taxi from the airport costs approximately EUR 20. Public transport around Athens is provided by metro, railway and express airport buses.
Driving directions: Take the motorway from the airport turning left at the Koropi Markopoulo exit. Follow the signs to Glyfada and drive along Vari Koropi avenue, turning left at the Vouliagmeni sign. Continue straight through the traffic light 300 metres later turning right into a narrow street 15 metres on. Take the first right and another right into Agiou Nikolaou street where the hotel is located.
