Behind the distinguished façade of the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal, the soaring glass atrium welcomes guests to this top class modern Hotel, located in the centre of budapest 500 metres from the westend city center shopping mall. Spread over six floors, the 414 air-conditioned guestrooms have warm decor with cherry wood furnishings and rich patterned fabrics. The Hotel's main restaurant is located by the main lobby and serves buffet breakfasts and an à la carte menu of local and international dishes for lunch and dinner in a lively relaxed atmosphere with outdoor seating in the atrium. Alternatively rickshaw restaurant & sushi bar serves oriental and southeast asian dishes for dinner, and has a sushi bar. On sundays (except during high summer season) the Hotel has a children's brunch, with a kids' mini buffet, supervised activities, games, competitions and movies. There are small boutiques for gifts and souvenirs in the Hotel and guests can take the free shuttle bus to the sister Hotel Corinthia aquincum's spa and enjoy facilities including a swimming pool, thermal and kneipp pools, finnish and infra-red saunas, and a fully-equipped fitness centre. The opera house is 800 metres from the Hotel and st stephen's basilica, one of budapest's most beautiful buildings, is one kilometre from the Hotel. Budapest ferihegy airport is an approximate driving time of 30 minutes and a distance of 15 kilometres away.
