Location. The Art Deco style boutique Hotel Borg is located in Reykjavik city centre, Iceland, 100 metres from famous sights like the cathedral and the Icelandic Parliament.
Hotel Features. Set in a restored 1930s building, the Hotel Borg features an elegant lobby with thirties style furnishings and monogrammed wallpaper.

The popular Silfur Restaurant serves award winning French dishes in a stylish wood floored room. Thick black curtains hang from arched windows and black and white furnishings are lit by contemporary chandeliers. Breakfast (surcharge) is served in a traditional English dining room and there's an onsite café bar for coffees and drinks.

Hotel Borg has meeting and conference rooms, banqueting facilities in the ballroom and high speed Internet connections. Business services can be provided by the 24 hour reception.

Decorated in subtle tones, Hotel Borg's guestrooms have polished wood floors, blackout curtains and custom made Art Deco style furniture. Rooms offer CD players, minibars, complimentary high speed Internet connections and flatscreen satellite television. Mirrored bathrooms feature marble sinks and tub/shower combinations.

From Reykjavik Keflavik International Airport (KEF):
Distance to the Hotel Borg is 45 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The Flybus departs from the airport and travels to the city centre's BSI bus terminal. The bus stops at Gardabæ and Hafnarfjordur on request, and journey time to central Reykjavik is approximately 45 minutes. The Hotel Borg is in Reykjavik's city centre. Taxis are expensive, costing about 7, 500 ISK 9, 000 ISK (82 EUR 98 EUR) to the city centre. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Hotel Borg is on Posthusstroti. Reykjavik city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. An extensive public bus system operates throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses operate from 7 a.m. to midnight, and single tickets cost 250 ISK (3.30 EUR). Cycling is a popular way of getting around, and the city has many cycle paths. There is parking available near the hotel. From Reykjavik Keflavik Airport:
Follow the signs for Reykjavik.
Drive straight through Hafnarfjordur.
Turn right towards the city centre.
After 10 to 15 minutes you will reach the Hotel Borg.
