Albani Florence Hotel

The Hotel Albani is a five floor hotel, set in a neo classical early 20th Century townhouse located in the historical centre of Florence, nestled between Piazza San Lorenzo and the main railway station. All 103 air conditioned guestrooms are furnished in true Florentine style with lavish drapes and exclusively designed carpets and linens. Rooms have generously sized marble bathrooms and benefit from minibars, cable television with pay movies and Internet connections via the TV.
Ristorante Bernini serves traditional Italian cuisine and a range of international specialties and the Albani bar provides the perfect place to relax with a drink and meet other guests. Two conference rooms are available: 'sala Michelangelo', able to accommodate from 15 to 300 people; and 'sala Giotto' with a capacity of 200 people. Both rooms are equipped with state of the art technology and excellent business services. Guests can work out on the fitness equipment before heading to the massage treatment room for a relaxing rub down. Sightseers are in a wonderful location with Duomo cathedral and the Santa Maria Novella Church within 250 metres of the hotel. Guided tours of the city, and of the Chianti countryside can be arranged through the hotel's concierge. The hotel is approximately 15 kilometres (9 miles), or a twenty minute drive from Florence Airport. A bus service operated by SITA runs between the airport and Santa Maria Novella (SMN) Train Station every hour from 6 AM and takes approximately 20 30 minutes. Taxis are available at the airport.
