The property dates back to the 13th century, when it was built as an augustine convent and retreat. inside are remains of an ancient medieval tower, destroyed by the ghibellini in 1260 and now partially restored, with original period frescoes decorating the modern library. the 42 rooms divided in standard, executive and deluxe rooms have all been carefully restored and all with private facilities telephone, mini-bar, safety box, satellite tv, air conditioning. its possible to book the room with a view made famous by james ivorys romantic film, with its stupendous terrace overlooking the ponte vecchio and with views to the hills that surround the city. the breakfast room, where we serve american breakfast, was once a ballroom with 19th century frescoes and a view of the river arno and via dei georgofili. theres also a panoramic bar with terrace and roof garden, from which there are fine views of the duomo and palazzo vecchio, where you can use the services of our american bar and enjoy moments of true relaxation. this property was built in 2002 renovated in 2002

Pass In Front Of Ponte Vecchio And After Few Metres On The Left Side There Is The Hotel Degli Orafi, Right On The Corner With Via De Georgofili. From Motorway Firenze Sud Follow The Indication For Viale Europa And Viale Giannotti, Then Once Arrive In Piazza Ravenna Take Right To Lungarno Ferrucci, Past Piazza Ferrucci Continue To Lungarnotorrigiani And Take Right, Pass In Front Of Palazzo Pitti And At The End Of The Street Make Right In Via Maggio Until Ponte Santa Trinita And Turn Right In Lungarno Accaiuoli. Pass In Front Of Ponte Vecchio And After Few Metres On The Left Side There Is The Hotel Degli Orafi.
