The Hotel Olimpia is a historical corner building situated in florence's lively piazza della repubblica, just 100 meters from the ponte vecchio and uffizi gallery. The 24 air-conditioned guestrooms have traditional style with matching wooden furnishings. The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 13 16 eur) although it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to santa maria novella station, in the centre of florence.
