Le Boscarecce is located 25 miles south of florence off the siena road. The inn is located on a ridge with farms and fields overlooking a deep valley below val d elsa. the terrace of the inn boasts a sweeping view of hills covered with cypress and olive trees in the foreground and the mountains appenini on the distant horizon. Within a half hour's drive of the inn are san gimignano, volterra, vinci, and the chianti country within one hour's drive firenze, pisa, and siena. Guests without a car can travel easily by the train located 3 km away in castelfiorentino, a small attractive village. The inn consists of 14 rooms named for famous literary or historical female figures. the rooms are furnished with 18th and 19th century antiques. All of them have telephone color tv, bathroom with bathtub and shower and hairdryer. The second building house houses a kitchen dining room and a lounge. Weather permitting, breakfast, and dinner are served on the canopied terrace. The terrace is designed for repose and enjoyment of the surrounding landscape. The sun setting over the appenini is something to put in your memory book. for our guest's pleasure is a large swimming pool, tennis court, hiking paths through the woods and olive groves. for the more sedentary is a small library of history and art history books and a gazebo in which to read.

To Reach Us The A1 Highway Runs Between Rome And Milan Through Florence. Just Outside Florence To The West Take The Pisa-Livorno Exit.The Highway Is Called Fi Pi Li. Pass The Lastra A Signa Exit, A Q Gas Station On The Right, And After The 14 Km. Marker Take The Ginestra F.Na Exit And On On The Roundabout Take The 3rd Street To The Right Into Montespertoli. You Are Now Following The Montespertoli Signs. After 6 Km You Ll Find A Village Called Baccaiano At The T Intersection Take Right Direction Montespertoli After 3 Or 4 Km Go Up A Loopy Switchback Road Not Turning Left To The Poppiano, But Staying On The Road To Volterra. Montespertoli Is On The Top Of The Hill. Don T Turn Left Into The Town But Stay On The New Road Swinging Around To The Right Of Town Past Some New Apartments. At The Roundabout Turn Right To Castelfiorentino. You Ll Reach Castelfiorentino After 12 Km Surrounded By A Beautifull View Of The Rolling Hills Of Tuscany Past The Above Ground Cemetery On The Left That Looks Like A Motel In The Night. Ther S A 3-Way Intersection And A Stop Sign. There Will Be A Blue And White Le Boscarecce Sign In Front Of You. Turn Left. Wind Down On The Overpass Into Castelfiorentino. At The Stop Light A U Turn To The Right There S A Le Boscarecce Sign On The Post. Veer Right On Via A.Vivaldi, The Road To Renai 3 Km, A Dirt Road Will Cross The Road And Few Yards Later Veer To Right At Le Boscarecce Sign Under The Bridge. It S An Old Paved Road With Grapes On The Right. Go Over A Little Bridge And The Road Curves To The Left. Stay On The Pavement Going Up Rather Deep Switchbacks. At The Top Of The Hill At The Dumpster Do Not Take The Gravel Road To The Right, But Turn Left With The Paved Road. There S A Sign Saying Di Piazzacalda , And A Small Sign To Renai. Just At House On The Left The Road Will Change To Gravel, At The T In The Road, There S A Le Boscarecce Sign. Turn Left In About 2 Km. The Le Boscarecce Gates Will Be Straight Ahead.
