The Airport Is A Short Taxi Ride From Town (Costing13-16 Eur) Although It Is Also Possible To Take The Half-Hourly Bus, Which Transports Passengers To Santa Maria Novella Station, In The Centre Of Florence. Buses Service The City Centre; Tickets Can Be Bought At Tobacconists Or Vending Machines. Tickets Are Sold On A Time Basis One Hour, Two-Hour Or 24-Hour Tickets. Traffic Is Restricted In The City Centre And Parking Is Expensive, So The Centre Of Florence Is Best Explored On Foot. Taxis Wait Outside Santa Maria Novella Station. From The Airport, Take The A1 Motorway In The Direction Of Firenze Centro. Approach The City Centre By Following Signs For 'Viali Di Circonvallazione'. Drive Along The Tree-Lined Avenues That Are Around The City Centre Until You Reach Piazza Della Liberta. Turn On To Via Cavour And Drive For Three Blocks Until You Reach Piazza San Marco. Turn Right On To Via Degli Arazzieri, Then On To The First Street On The Right. The Hotel Is On The Right And Pay Parking Is Available Nearby.
