Location. Housed in a 19th century mansion, the Residence San Niccolo is situated on the Lungarno riverside in the historic centre of Florence, one kilometre from the Ponte Vecchio. Florence Vespucci Airport is seven kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features. The concierge can help plan sightseeing itineraries, and guests can hire bicycles on site to explore the surrounding area. The 24 hour front desk is complete with a safe deposit box, and other practical amenities include on site parking, an elevator and a dry cleaning service.

Guestrooms. The 15 guestrooms are spread over three floors and have simple modern decor with light wood furniture. All include kitchenettes with refrigerators, cable television, Internet connections, direct dial phones and bathrooms with hair dryers.

Expert Tip. Florence offers an overwhelming wealth of art, culture and history. One kilometre away is the 16th century Uffizi Gallery with some of the most famous Renaissance paintings and the 14th century Ponte Vecchio bridge. The cathedral, five kilometres away, is one of the city's most famous monuments.

Directions

Getting there. By car, take A1 Motorway in the direction of Firenze Centro. Although the airport is very close to Florence, traffic can be bad in the city, so guests are advised to allow 20 minutes. The airport is a short taxi ride from town (costing 15 20 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence.

Driving directions. From the airport follow direction to Viali Di Circonvallazione to the station. Then head towards Piazza Liberta Piazza Beccaria. After Piazza Beccaria continue in the direction of Ponte S. Niccolo for about 400 metres. The hotel is on the right hand side.
