Location. The Hotel New York Spa is located in central Milan, Italy, 30 metres from Stazione Centrale, the city's main railway station. The Duomo (cathedral) and the fashion boutiques of Via Montenapoleone are two kilometres away.
Hotel Features. A modern, five storey property, the Hotel New York Spa opens to air conditioned public areas equipped with wireless Internet access (surcharge). Staff at the 24 hour front desk can offer concierge services. A porter is on hand to assist with luggage.

The hotel houses an American style lounge bar. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served each morning. Although the hotel does not have its own restaurant, central Milan offers many dining options.

Guestrooms. The 69 guestrooms at the Hotel New York Spa feature light decor and modern furnishings. All are equipped with televisions, wireless Internet access (surcharge), direct dial phones, safes, and minibars. Bathrooms offer hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Via Montenapoleone, 2.5 kilometres from the hotel, is renowned for it high fashion boutiques. Many of the best known designer labels have stores here, including Versace, Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Prada.

From Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP):
Distance to Hotel New York is 53 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis to the hotel cost about 70 80 EUR. The Malpensa Express train runs every 30 minutes between the airport's train station and the city centre (Cadorna station). Single tickets are approximately 9 EUR, and journey time is 40 minutes. From Cadorno, take the metro to Centrale, which is 30 metres from the hotel. The Malpensa shuttle bus also runs to Centrale every 20 minutes. The fare is 4.50 EUR and journey time is 20 minutes. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
