Townhouse 31 is a contemporary design hotel located in a restored 19th century building located on via goldoni, a ten minute walk from milan's commercial district and within one kilometre of the duomo. The 17 air-conditioned guestrooms are presented in modern cream tones with oriental-style furnishings and wooden floors. Amenities include free wireless internet access, climate control, minibars and turndown service.
Guests can start the day with coffee and continental breakfast in the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel breakfast room, and the Townhouse31 wine bar serves a range of drinks and appetizers in an sumptuously decorated setting with potted palms, rich fabrics and ornaments from across the globe. Guests can make use of free internet access to check emails and surf the web, order up room service, and even have suits pressed and returned to the wardrobe, ready to be worn, thanks to the hotel's "butler" service. Milan is famous for fashion and the shops around piazza san babila are a ten minute walk from the hotel. Those with a head for heights can climb to the roof of the duomo, and for opera lovers, the magnificent scala theatre is two kilometres away. Milan linate airport is located 10 kilometres from the hotel, a drive of approximately 20 minutes. Bus no. 73 runs every 10 minutes and connects the airport with the milan underground at san babila station (close to the hotel). There is also a shuttle bus to milan malpensa airport on the other side of the city. There is an airport coach service which runs every 20 minutes to the air terminal at milan central station. Trams, buses and the underground run from the central station to the vicinity of the hotel.
