The Sheraton Diana Majestic is an early 20th century art deco Hotel, situated 1.5 kilometres from the designer shops of montenapoleone street in central milan, and within two kilometres of the famous cathedral. The 107 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in imperial style with period features and antique furniture. All rooms include bose sound systems, satellite television, wireless internet access, minibars, safes, and marble bathrooms with hair dryers, slippers, bathrobes, and complimentary toiletries.
Guests can dine in il milanese curioso, an art deco style restaurant overlooking the Hotel gardens which serves mediterranean and traditional milanese dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The stylish lounge bar is decorated in brown, orange and silver and is lit by baroque crystal chandeliers, providing an atmospheric location for drinks and cocktails. Both bar and restaurant open onto the terrace for al fresco dining during the summer months. Guests can work out in the gym, which is fully equipped with cardiovascular machines, free weights and resistance weight machines, or relax in the landscaped inner garden, a peaceful green space where guests can sit in the shade of scented trees listening to water cascading from the fountain. Business guests enjoy access to four function rooms, able to accommodate up to 200 people, including the new hi-tech black label room, equipped with back projection, amplification system, dvd, and multi-system video-recorder. Video conferencing services are provided and an onsite technician and conference staff are on hand to offer assistance. In addition to the function rooms, in spring and summer the Hotel offers use of the terrace and the private garden, which can host cocktail parties, weddings and fashion shows for up to 250 people. Guests benefit from a 24-hour front desk and concierge services as well as tour assistance and secure valet parking (surcharge). Many of milan's main attractions are within two kilometres of the Hotel, including the imposing cathedral, sforzesco castle, and la scala opera house. Milan linate airport is two kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 10 minutes.
