Location. The Place Suitehomes offers six themed suites in the centre of Milan, within 100 metres of the Galleria, 200 metres of Via Montenapoleone, and 300 metres of the nightlife quarter Corso Como. The railway station is 200 metres from the suites.
Hotel Features. The fully serviced suites are located in historic buildings in the most famous streets of Milan's city centre. The Place offers tailor made customer care, which ranges from arranging in suite music or art events to organising grocery and wine deliveries. Hair and Beauty services are provided on request. Personal shoppers and stylists are available.

Private chefs will prepare lunches or evening meals in the suites on request.

Pilates, yoga and aerobics can be arranged nearby. The Place is happy to organise bicycle and horse rental for its guests. Personal guided art, design, and jewellery tours are available. In suite cooking lessons can be arranged. The nearest golf course is five kilometres from the hotel.

Guestrooms. All six themed suites have stylish interiors with antique style French and Italian furniture. All suites have kitchens, and private bathrooms with showers, bidets, and complimentary organic toiletries. The suites are equipped with flatscreen televisions with satellite channels and DVD players. Further amenities include cordless direct dial phones and complimentary wireless Internet access. A complimentary selection of coffee and tea by Illy is provided.

Expert Tip. La Galleria is Milan's late 19th century version of a shopping mall a steel and glass covered, cross shaped arcade. The elegant mall provides a pleasing route between the Duomo and La Scala and the cafes are a fine place for watching the flocks of well dressed Milanese.

From Milan Linate Airport (LIN):
Distance to The Place Suitehomes is 15 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. A taxi to central Milan and the suites costs about 25 EUR. The Place offers airport transfer at a surcharge. An airport shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Milan's Stazione Centrale (central station). The fare is 3 EUR for a single ticket. The number 73 bus leaves every 10 minutes from outside arrivals and runs to San Babila station on Milan's underground metro system. The fare is 1 EUR for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. The city centre is easy to explore on foot, and there are pedestrianised areas around the Duomo. A comprehensive network of trams, buses and four metro lines offers efficient travel throughout the city. Integrated tickets for all modes of public transport can be purchased at newsagents, metro stations, tobacconists, and most coffee bars. Driving is not recommended in Milan's city centre. There are many one way streets, traffic is heavy, and parking is limited. Cars parked illegally are towed or fined.
