Location. The 19th century Empire Palace Hotel in Rome, Italy, is on a side street 400 metres from the shops and cafés of Via Veneto and one kilometre from Villa Borghese's museums. Hotel Features. Set in a neo Gothic palazzo, this renovated 1870s townhouse is centred around a courtyard with a 1500 year old Carrara marble fountain. The lobby features marble flooring, vaulted ceiling and African wooden ornaments. Moroccan leather chairs furnish the lounge.
