Hotel Flaminius

From Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO):
Distance to Hotel Flaminius is 35 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.

Getting there. The hotel offers a transfer for surcharge. Alternatively, the Leonardo Express runs between the airport and the Termini train station in the city centre every 30 minutes. The journey time is approximately 35 minutes and single tickets cost 9.50 EUR. The Terravision shuttle bus runs between the airport and Termini station. From Termini, the subway runs to Piazzale Flaminio. Outside Flaminio, take the light subway line, Roma Viterbo, to La Celsa. From here, the hotel is 200 metres on the right. Taxis to the hotel cost approximately 60 EUR, and taking a metered licensed taxi is advised. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel. Driving in the city centre is not advised for visitors.

Driving directions. From the airport take highway autostrada Roma Fiumicino, or A1, for 12 km.
Follow directions for Grande Raccordo Anulare, the A90, in the direction of Aurelia for 25 km.
Exit at N° 6 Flaminia and follow direction Terni.
Proceed straight on for 1 kilometre and exit at the sign for Tiberina.
Turn left following the road sign for Prima Porta.
After passing under the bridge of the Ring Road, turn left toward Roma and, after a few meters, keep right, following the road and than make a U turn to the left.
After 50 metres, the hotel will be visible.
