Roma Park

The Roma Park Hotel is a modern four story hotel set in the tranquil San Giovanni Laterano district, overlooking the Caffarella Archaeological Park, three kilometres from the Coliseum. The 42 air conditioned guestrooms have warm décor with pale walls, burgundy carpets, cherry wood furniture and coordinating fabrics. All include safes, bathroom telephones, cable TV, direct dial phones and minibars. Some also have views of Caffarella Park.
The restaurant serves breakfast with a rooftop setting overlooking the park, and there is an American bar, which offers a range of coffees, cocktails and beverages. After breakfast on the roof terrace, guests can plan a day of Roman sightseeing with help from the hotel's concierge. For business guests, the hotel provides business, secretarial and translation services. Guests can order snacks and drinks to their rooms via room service (limited hours). The area around the hotel is part of a protected public park and home to many species of birds and animals. The catacombs and Aurelian's Wall are within two kilometres, the magnificent Coliseum is three kilometres away, and Vatican City is approximately five kilometres away. There is a bus stop 50 metres from the hotel; bus 628 goes to Piazza Venezia and the Pantheon. Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is an approximate 45 minutes drive at a distance of 25 kilometres. There is an express train service ever y 30 minutes to Rome's Termini train station (journey time 30 minutes), five kilometres from the hotel. A single ticket costs 9.50 EUR. Taxis are readily available at the airport, but take a licensed metered taxi only. An airport surcharge is payable. A taxi to the city centre will cost 50 60 EUR.
