Residenza Cannaregio

Location. The Residenza Cannaregio hotel is in Venice, Italy and is within 500 meters from Venice landmarks that include Sant' Alvise church, the Jewish Ghetto and Museum, Madonna dell'Orto church and the Grand Canal. The Museum of Natural History is 700 meters from the hotel and Murano is a 15 minute waterbus ride away. Venice Marco Polo Airport is approximately 15 kilometers from the hotel.

Hotel Features. Originally a monastery, the Residenza Cannaregio hotel also was the site of a gondola building workshop during the early 19th century. The lobby features marble floors, beamed ceilings and brick walls. A 24 hour front desk has a multilingual staff who provide amenities that include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and concierge services.

Complimentary buffet breakfasts are served daily in the Al Piron restaurant. The restaurant serves lunches and dinners March through October and dinner only in November through February. Guestrooms. The 66 guestrooms in the Residenza Cannaregio feature ceiling beams from the original building. Dark carpets and earth tones of brown, blue and orange are used in the modernistic style furniture and fabrics in the rooms.
