Avalon Baccara Cancun

Location. Sitting beachfront on the eastern shore of the island, the Avalon Baccara Cancun enjoys a convenient location in the Hotel Zone of Cancun, Mexico. Shopping and dining are offered across the street and throughout town, and there are several nightclubs and bars in the area.
Hotel Features. The hacienda styled resort offers a freeform pool complete with fountains, cascading waterfalls and a swim up bar with in water seating. The unique lobby features billiards, chess and backgammon tables with overstuffed leather seating and a bar. Complimentary coffee and pastries are served in the lobby each morning. Avanti, a two floor Caribbean view restaurant features a waterfall rock garden and a la carte dining with specialties such as smoked mahi mahi moussaka and snapper carpaccio. The 24 hour front desk staff can assist with tour planning, currency exchange, concierge and business services. Guests receive complimentary access to amenities at the Avalon Reef Club. For a fee, parents can leave their children at the supervised kid's club at the Avalon Grand Cancun 185 meters from the resort. The Avalon Grand Cancun also features a health spa offering a variety of treatments and a fitness center.

Guestrooms. Accommodations range from studios and suites to one and two bedroom units, some with kitchens and the option to have a chef prepare meals. DVD players are available upon request. Standard amenities include CD stereos and cable television with premium channels.

Expert Tip. A small bullring, Plaza de Toros, is located downtown. Bullfights take place every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m
