Avalon Grand Cancun

Location. The Avalon Grand Cancun is located along Cancun Island's eastern shore. This Mexico property stands one half kilometer from area shops and less than five kilometers from Pok Ta Pok golf course.
Hotel Features. Buffet style Italian, Mexican and Caribbean dishes are served at the hotel's Bellavista restaurant, while the more formal Mi Casa es su Casa Mexican restaurant boasts colorful décor and views of the lagoon. Kelly's Sports Bar is an air conditioned pub with a pool table, dance floor, waterfall wall and live music several nights weekly. Two outdoor pools include one with a children's section while the other features two, three person spa tubs and one fish shaped, six person spa tub. An air conditioned fitness center features cardiovascular and weight machines, and free weights. Hotel activities include stage shows hosted three nights a week, pool aerobics, dance and Spanish lessons and cooking classes. A supervised children's activities program is located within a domed gazebo.

Guestrooms. This resort offers 122 air conditioned guestrooms and suites housed within four Mediterranean style buildings. Terraced into a low hill, guestrooms feature balustrade balconies. Décor includes white walls, terra cotta tile floors, carved hacienda style furniture with metal trim and colorful fabrics. CD players provide entertainment and DVD players are available upon request. Rooms include satellite television, coffeemakers and safe deposit boxes. Select rooms contain kitchenettes. Dial up Internet access is available for a fee.
