The hotel Plantage is a 17th-century building located in the old part of the city. The 18 guestrooms have simple, light decor with patterned fabrics. All offer televisions, coffee and tea making facilities and safes. Bathrooms have hair dryers and makeup mirrors.
The hotel is located in a beautiful green area in the old centre of amsterdam, originally designed in the 17th century as a garden called 'plantage'. It is surrounded by many sights, bar and restaurants with good transport links, and so is well placed to explore the area. Visitors to the city are well located to visit the city's many places of interest; artis zoo is just 100 metres from the hotel, and the flea market and opera house are both 400 metres away. The maritime museum and van gogh museum are two kilometres away. Amsterdam schiphol airport is 25 kilometres (15 miles) from the hotel, approximately 20 minutes by car.

There Is A Railway Station In The Terminal's Central Hall, Under Schiphol Plaza; Direct Trains Run To Amsterdam Centraal Station Approximately Every 15 Minutes, From There Take The Number Nine Tram To Plantage Kerklaan. Schiphol Travel Taxis Are Available From Outside The Arrivals Hall, And A Typical Fare To The Hotel Is Approximately 35 Eur. Waterlooplein Station Is 400 Metres From The Hotel. Public Buses Also Run Regularly To Amsterdam And Other Cities. Much Of Amsterdam Can Be Explored On Foot, Although Trams Run Throughout The City. More Adventurous Visitors May Wish To Hire Bicycles.
