A family-run working farm, Bjornefjorden gjestetun was formerly a monastery dating back to 1146. It is located one kilometre from the beach, 28 kilometres from bergen. The 40 guestrooms are decorated in a typical norwegian style with wooden beams. Rooms feature direct-dial phones, hair dryers and kitchenettes.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner the bjørnefjorden restaurant serves a fusion of regional and european cuisine in rustic surroundings.
