Climb aboard your open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition. Animals from Africa freely roam through acres of savannah, rivers, & rocky hills.
Look out for giraffes, gazelles, elephants, rhinos, & lions. But beware, your adventure takes an unexpected turn when poachers are spotted.
The Frog Family Experience
"This is the first attraction we do when we arrive at Animal Kingdom. The animals will have just been fed and will still be awake. (They nap for most of the day...you'll see them but they won't see you.) We make sure to get on the left side of the jeep as most of the animal sanctuaries are on that side."

If you have a large group with more than one camera, sit on opposite sides of the safari vehicle to catch all of the action. Always keep your cameras ready as animals roam freely throughout the reserve and you never know when a terrific picture-taking opportunity may present itself.
Do not feed the animals. Disney Imagineers made many research trips to Africa to ensure that the landscapes accurately replicate the experience of taking a safari in Africa. Since animals have minds of their own, no two safaris are ever the same.

Visit this attraction in the morning or afternoon. The animals like to sleep when it is hot, and it can be hard to see them when they asleep :) It is very well done, it appears that the lions could come right up to you and have a snack, which of course they cannot ... we think.
