During the aerial "combat" between the dragons, there are three times that guests will come within 18 inches of their opponent. Each dragons 2-minute and 25-seconds flight includes several inversions, including a zero-g roll, a Cobra roll, two corkscrews, and two vertical loops.

My family and I go to Orlando twice a year. We all love the duelling dragons. As soon as we get off we run around to the stairs half way down the exit walkway so we can join the line for another go. but we get there quicker.
My name is Kellie I am 17 and I am from Mississpi. I flew to Orlando to visit with my Dad and my stepmom on my summer vaction in July of 2004. They took me to Islands of Adventure. All three of us are rollercoaster maniacs. We never turn down any roller coaster. So we had to get on the Dueling Dragons. I will have to admit that is the best roller coaster I have been on. The thrill I got when the coasters had their close misses is undescribable. I give a rating of 10+. Although when they are not running at the same time it makes a difference and there in not as big of a thrill.
A Brilliant Ride, although when we went on Fire. Something had happened to ice and the thrill was not quite so good, well worth waiting for.
