"The boat ride lasts upto 17 minutes and takes you through Frontierland, Liberty Square and Tom Sawyer Island. Unless it's a very calm day at Magic Kingdom and we've done absolutely everything else there is to do, we skip it. It's a beautiful boat, but we would rather spend the time actually in Frontierland or on Tom Sawyer Island."

The best views are from the top deck. The Liberty Square was built from scratch in the dry dock at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
The Liberty Square actually has a boiler room that converts the water in the Rivers of America into steam that propels the paddle that powers the boat. This is one of the original attractions at Magic Kingdom® Park which opened on October 1, 1971.
At busy times, take in these not-so-busy attractions: Walt Disney World® Railroad, Liberty Square Riverboat, The Hall of Presidents, The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management and Tomorrowland® Transit Authority. Board early if you are interested in taking advantage of the limited seating.
