Tom Sawyer Island

Walt Disney himself designed this out-of-the-way retreat. You'll be transported by boat to Tom Sawyer Island, and immersed into the homespun world of Mark Twain.

There are dirt trails and creaky barrel bridges to explore, even fun spots like Harper's Mill and you can poke around Injun Joe's Caves. Caves, hidden paths, relax and use your imagination. The rafts to Tom Sawyer Island are not on a track or guiderail.

The Frog Family Experience

"We cannot tell you how many times Tad and Lily have begged us for five more minutes of running around and exploring Tom Sawyer Island. We hurry them along only to remember we did the same thing when we were kids. From the raft ride over to the "gold mine" and suspension bridge, this is a great escape from the lines and crowds in the rest of the park!"
