"We parents get a kick out of the "speedway" reference as it's not very fast, but this classic Disney attraction is lots of fun! The fumes from the cars can be a bit overwhelming so try to go when the line is short or if you have a FASTPASS. The little ones may need help steering and pushing the gas pedal."

Did you know that a checkered flag is waved at every driver who finishes at the end of the race? Frequently the flag is given to the winning driver as a memento. When you remove your foot from the gas pedal the car will slow to a stop. Al Unserbot is the official host of the Tomorrowland Indy 500.
It's a good idea to bring a bottle of water with you as you wait for the big race. Disney's Magical Moments pins with game buttons are designed to interact with this attraction.
