The Vila Gale Praia is a couple-oriented 'ambience and wellness' Hotel set in extensive gardens, 120 metres from the beach and six kilometres from albufeira. The three floor property features 40 air-conditioned guestrooms with smart, contemporary decor, white linen, leather furnishings and caramel tones. All rooms extend to furnished balconies and contemporary bathrooms with bathrobes and slippers; rooms also include minibars, flatscreen televisions with cable channels, and dvd/cd players (discs are provided free of charge through reception).
On arrival guests are seated and presented with a refreshment towel and welcome drink, whilst the Hotel also offers an extensive breakfast service until 11 a.M. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy massage treatments and beauty therapies in the Hotel spa, while active types enjoy workouts in the gym. There is also a sauna, turkish bath and large hot tub with panoramic garden views. A large palm-fringed swimming pool is sprawled across the Hotel's manicured main lawn, and offers loungers for sunbathers and a splash pool for younger children. In the evenings guests can relax beside the fire in the lobby lounge, play cards and snooker in the games room, and mingle over cocktails in the bar. The beach is just 120 metres away for water sports, swimming and sunbathing and golfers will find the 18-hole salgados golf course two kilometres from the Hotel. The Hotel also offers a shuttle to albufeira for those who want to browse the shops and experience the town's bustle. Local attractions include zoomarine, an amusement park and sea life centre, seven kilometres away, the aqualand water park and the castle at silves, both 20 kilometres away. Portimano, a town offering good shopping and restaurants, is 36 kilometres away. Faro airport is also 36 kilometres, and a 40 minute drive form the Hotel.

Taxis Can Be Caught From Outside The Terminal Building; Typical Fares To Albufeira Are 35-45 Eur. Buses Can Also Be Caught Outside The Terminal Building. Aerobus Provides A Shuttle Service Between The Airport And Faro City Centre Daily (Except Tuesday) In High Season. The Best Way To Explore Southern Portugal Is By Car. Albufeira Offers A Bus Network And Taxis Are Available From Ranks In The Town.
From The Airport Take Motorway Via Do Infante In The Portimao Direction. Take The Albufeira Exit And Follow The Main Road (En 125) To Guia. At The First Set Of Traffic Lights In Guia Turn Left And Drive Towards Praia De Gale. On Arriving In Gale, Take The Right Turn At The First Roundabout.
