Location. Built in 1998 in a typically Portuguese villa style and set by gardens with sea views, the Quintinha de Sao Joao is a family run hotel located one kilometre from the centre of Madeira's first city, Funchal. Madeira Airport is 23 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.
