location. perched on a hill overlooking layan beach in Phuket, thailand, the Phuket Pavilions offers a secluded slice of tropical thailand. Less than one kilometer from the andaman sea and within two kilometers of sirinat national park, the villa-style resort is 25 kilometers from Phuket town and Phuket international airport.
hotel features. upon arrival at Phuket international airport, guests are greeted by a member of the hotel staff bearing orchids and a welcome drink. At check-in, ipod minis are available for loan. With contemporary asian flair, the Phuket Pavilions is comprised of 30 separate villas. Traditional thai thatched roofs are streamlined and modernized. Dark wood prevails in public spaces, as do large windows and mute colored walls. Privacy is paramount here (the resort touts a "no tanlines" motto) and children are prohibited. Daily complimentary breakfasts are available. Extensive spa services and private dining are available within the villas. Upscale payot and natural thai-herbed products are administered during spa treatments. For off-property trips, the hotel provides complimentary shuttle service.
