Location. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on a private beach next to Wild Wadi Waterpark. Palm Island, a man made island in the shape of a palm tree, is located five kilometres away and Dubai city centre is 15 kilometres away. Shopping at the Mall of the Emirates is five kilometres from the hotel.
Hotel Features. There is a health spa and sports club in the resort. The sports club is located at the marina and includes a gymnasium with fitness equipment. The spa consists of two steam rooms, two saunas, a plunge pool, and three hot tubs. There are also various beauty treatments. Guests also have unlimited complimentary access to Wild Wadi Watepark. Evenings can be spent with celebrity DJs at the Apartment Lounge+Club.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel has 22 bars, restaurants, and lounges. Beachcombers serves Asian dishes on the beachfront and Der Keller serves German dishes. Lebanese dishes are available from Al Khayal and evening cocktails can be enjoyed in the Uptown bar. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

There are 11 seminar rooms including audio visual equipment in the detached conference centre, which is shaped like an Arabic sailing vessel.

Sinbad's kids' club is run by friendly staff and includes a children's pool. The hotel offers outdoor pursuits on the beach including volleyball. There are also squash and tennis courts, a dive centre, and five swimming pools.

Guestrooms. The 617 ocean view guestrooms all have air conditioning and balconies and are decorated in modern style. The televisions come with premium satellite channels, pay movies, DVD players, and VCRs. There are also DVD players, CD players, direct dial phones, and fax machines. The hotel provides coffee and tea facilities, minibars, and complimentary bottled water, and the bathrooms include bathrobes, slippers, and hair dryers.

Distance to Jumeirah Beach Hotel is 25 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Pre paid taxis can be found at Terminal 1's Arrivals hall, and the fare to the hotel is approximately 100 AED. Limousines can be hired in the Arrivals hall. Price is subject to change.

Getting around. Public buses offer a reasonable service between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. Buses travel from Bur Dubai station, on Al Ghubaiba road, and Deira bus station, near the gold souk. Buses have separate seated sections for women and men, with women typically sitting near the front. Travellers should pay the correct fare to the driver. In older parts of Dubai, small wooden motorboats cross over Dubai Creek between early morning and midnight. Air conditioned taxis are efficient, cheap, and safe, and can be pre booked by telephone or hailed in the street.
